Clutch that needs revamping.

Just stick the Bindis in a style you prefer.

And tadaaa... you have got what you wanted in just few minutes. :)

Birthday Card and Balloons

Few days ago it was my closest friend's birthday. I wished to give him something different and personalized. Everyone buys gift but I wanted to make one.

And, me being the lazy lass that I am, procrastinated till the night before his birthday.
Now was the time for quick action. Cutting and pasting seemed like the only option.

I used the idea of Garland Flags from the previous post and used in this handmade card.
Cutting little shapes of balloons,  tying strings together with a ribbon was all that was needed.

Love it. :)

Flag Garlands

I thought of doing something really really simple for the first DIY post.
That way I won't be messing it up and it can be easy for you guys too.

So why not Flag Garlands!?

 It can be made with minimum requirements.

• Colorful post-its
• Glue
• Scissors
• String

Cut the posts-its in the desired shapes. Like the triangles or what I did here.

I like making tiny versions of everything.  Leave some space at the top for sticking.

Apply some glue at the upper portion of the flags and glue it to the string.

Stick at regular intervals.

What you get is cute and fluttering flag garlands.
You can use them to decorate your pin board.

Add that extra zing to your walls.

Or any other creative way you can think of. :)
